Chamber initiates new Root Beer Float Mondays

Root Beer Float Mondays is a new take on an age-old summer tradition of Holyoke Chamber of Commerce, and it starts next Monday, June 29.

It replaces Hot Dog Wednesdays, which the Chamber promoted for a number of years at various member businesses throughout the summer.

As restrictions are being reduced and community members are moving back into regularly-scheduled activities and events, the chamber is very excited to announce that they have been given the approval and feel prepared to safely resume some of their annual programs.

Chamber director Holly Ferguson said she has received a great deal of input about the value of the Hot Dog Wednesdays program, as well as a few ways to make it better.
