Clay Walker booked for Cattlemen’s Ball

Clay Walker, country music superstar and popular entertainer, will headline the 2019 Nebraska Cattlemen’s Ball at the Wayne and Chris Krausnick Ranch near Wauneta, Nebraska, on Saturday, June 8.
“I’m really excited to have Clay Walker at the Cattlemen’s Ball this year. I grew up listening to his music and his songs bring back so many great memories,” said event committee member Kati Ladenburger.
“With his new album being released, I think that the next generation of country music fans is going to connect with him as well,” she said.
“All the way up in Nebraska, sittin’ on a tractor ... roundin’ up cattle ... long live the cowboy,” are lines from Clay Walker’s newest album “Long Live the Cowboy,” released Jan. 21.
Nominated for Top Male Vocalist by the Academy of Country Music, Walker has earned six No. 1 hits, with five consecutive No. 1 songs: “What’s It to You,” “Live Until I Die,” “Dreaming with my Eyes Wide Open,” “If I Could Make a Living,” “This Woman and This Man” and “Rumor Has It.”
Overall, Walker has recorded 23 Top 20 hits and 19 Top 10 hits including the recent hit “She Won’t Be Lonely Long.”
With beach balls, streamers, confetti and videos playing behind him on a giant screen as he sings, Walker’s concert Saturday night of the Ball will be a “Party on Stage,” organizers say.
