Corn organizations seek applications for Farm Stewardship Award

    The Colorado Corn Administrative Committee and Colorado Corn Growers Association are seeking applications for the Colorado Farm Stewardship Award to be announced at the Colorado corn annual banquet Wednesday, Dec. 6, in Burlington.
    Many Colorado farmers are implementing some of the latest and greatest production methods aimed at improving efficiency on their farms, protecting natural resources and enhancing air and water quality.
    The CCAC and CCGA want to honor producers taking these efforts to new heights. Applications are due Friday, Nov. 17. Applicants must be CCGA members in good standing, implement conservation tillage methods and demonstrate practices related to soil, water or air stewardship.
