CREP meetings to provide producer info

    Colorado Farm Service Agency will host producer informational meetings next week to cover provisions of the Republican River Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program.
    Sign-up for this program began June 3 and continues through Aug. 23.
    Meeting times are scheduled as follows:
    — Monday, June 24, 1 p.m., Haxtun Community Building.
    — Tuesday, June 25, 1 p.m., Calvary Lutheran Church Parish Hall, Wray.
    — Tuesday, June 25, 7 p.m., Otis school.
    — Wednesday, June 26, 1 p.m., Farm Credit of Southern Colorado basement in Burlington.
    — Wednesday, June 26, 7 p.m., Lincoln County USDA Service Center in Hugo.
    CREP is a part of the Conservation Reserve Program, the country’s largest private-land conservation program. It targets high-priority conservation concerns identified by a state.
