Crops Input Conference set for March 10

Colorado State University Extension and the Colorado Certified Crop Advisors are announcing the 2nd Crops Input Conference on Friday, March 10.  Location is both via Zoom connection and in-person at the DeSoto Building located in Sterling, Colorado. The program begins at 8:30 a.m. and will continue until approximately 4:45 p.m.  

Seven Certified Crop Advisor credits will be offered for attendance in categories of Nutrient Management, Soil and Water, Pest Management and Crop Management.  Speakers and topics will include Adam Osterholzer, CSU entomologist, speaking about Wheat Stem Sawfly; Esten Mason, CSU wheat breeder, speaking on wheat variety updates; Neil Kittelson, Colorado Department of Agriculture, speaking on pesticide updates; along with company representatives from BASF, FMC and UPL Godsey Ag, Bayer, Syngenta, Brandt, Gowan and Corteva discussing industry product updates.  

The program is available without cost due to industry sponsorship. However, registration is required and can be found at: goldenplains.extension.colostate.edu/programs/agriculture/crop/.  

This program is available both in-person and via Zoom link. However, registration is required for all attending as lunch will be sponsored. In addition, the program’s agenda is included on the Golden Plains Area website listed above.
