FFA Week drives home ag importance
Feb. 17-21 was FFA Week at Holyoke JR/SR High School. On Tuesday, students drove their tractors to school, and on Wednesday FFA members served a teacher appreciation breakfast while wearing official FFA attire.
Students got pumped for ag during Thursday’s FFA pep rally, which included an Ag Olympics obstacle course and a spotlight on the kiss-a-pig contest winner, Lori Nelson. Eighth grader Isaiah Rueter won the dress-like-a-farmer contest.
All elementary students got to learn about animals, tractors and more during Friday’s FFA Barnyard Day.
