Foundations and nonprofits convene for Rural Philanthropy Days

From June 9-11, over 100 northeastern Colorado nonprofit professionals, grantmakers, community leaders, distinguished speakers and elected officials united in Lincoln County to exchange knowledge and expand professional networks at the Northeast Rural Philanthropy Days conference.

Rural Philanthropy Days is a statewide program that promotes excellence in Colorado’s rural communities by providing nonprofit organization leaders access to resources they need to make a stronger impact. For over three decades, local communities have worked together to coordinate RPD in partnership with Community Resource Center, a statewide nonprofit organization, and Colorado’s philanthropic community.

“RPD creates opportunities for important community projects within the Northeast and seven other regions across the state by strengthening regional relationships, building the skills of the region’s nonprofit leaders and connecting local organizations with grantmaking organizations,” said Maria Fabula, Community Resource Center CEO.
