Grasslands workshop is Nov. 13 in Imperial
Woody encroachment by Eastern Redcedar threatens rangeland health and reduces grazing capacity for beef cattle production.
The Nebraska Grazing Lands Coalition, Nebraska Extension, Nebraska Cattlemen and Sandhills Task Force will present a program called “Protecting the Last Grasslands: Winning Strategies for Woody Encroachment” in Imperial, Nebraska, on Friday, Nov. 13.
The program will be held at Crossroads Wesleyan Church and will begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude by 3 p.m. The program is free, and lunch is provided.
