HEA annual meeting set for March 20

    Highline Electric Association will host its annual meeting Tuesday, March 20, at the Phillips County Event Center at 6:30 p.m.
    A complimentary meal and registration will kick off the evening at 5:30 p.m. with the business meeting to follow.
    Reports by officers, directors and committees are on the agenda, as well as several scholarship announcements, youth reports on the Washington, D.C., Youth Tour and Youth Leadership Camp, and the election of four directors.
    In District No. 3, there are three people running for one open position. Candidates include incumbent David Kinnison, Kirk Sittner and Nancy Berges.
    In addition, incumbents Jim Lueck, Mike Bennett and Merlin R. Prior are running unopposed for Districts 1, 2 and 4, respectively.
