Heldenbrand assumes role of chamber of commerce director
As of April 2, McKenna Heldenbrand is the new director of the Holyoke Chamber of Commerce, a role she is excited to take on. The month of April will be a period of transition as Elizabeth Hutches trains her successor on the ins and outs of the position.
Hutches said that, despite being sad to step away from the chamber, she is excited to see Heldenbrand help the organization grow even further.
Though new to the chamber, Heldenbrand is no stranger to Holyoke. Even when she’s lived elsewhere, she’s always considered Holyoke to be “home,” as it’s where she was born and raised and has many family ties. Her parents are Bob and Brenda Heldenbrand of Holyoke and Matt and Michelle Finley, who live in Florida.
For almost three years, Heldenbrand has worked at Printers Paper & More. She will continue to do so, working part time there and part time as chamber director. Heldenbrand also runs her own side business. Through Dirt Roads Photography and Events, she does event planning and photo stations for special occasions.
