Hickenlooper visits Melissa Memorial

John Hickenlooper visited Melissa Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Jan. 9, to discuss health care access and affordability. As part of his campaign for U.S. Senate, Hickenlooper is visiting all 64 counties in Colorado. His visit to Holyoke was part of a three-day tour across the eastern plains.

Expanding access to quality health care and lowering prescription drug and medical costs are two of Hickenlooper’s highest priorities and two of the issues he hears about most as he campaigns across Colorado. During his tour of the hospital, Hickenlooper heard about the variety of services offered to patients and how protecting health coverage like Medicaid is crucial to maintaining access.
