Historic downtown building housing the Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union gets facelift
In downtown Holyoke, the brick building on the northwest corner of Denver Street and Interocean Avenue has long been a part of local history. As such, it’s seen many changes over the years. Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union purchased the building in 1982. This month, a decades-old sign was replaced, giving the historic building a new look. On Nov. 15, the large sign that stuck out from the corner of the building was removed. By the end of the day Nov. 22, new signs were installed on the south and east walls.
