Klinzmann joins county FSA

    Alicia Klinzmann is helming Phillips County’s Farm Service Agency as executive director, administering and helping producers sign up for farm bill programs.
    The Akron native said that, since moving to Holyoke last year, she has appreciated the variety of businesses and amenities in town.
    “Holyoke is actually a little bit bigger than Akron,” she said. “Everyone in the community has been really nice and really welcoming.”
    Klinzmann grew up on a small farm, where her parents raised wheat, feed crops and alfalfa, and ran cattle. She said her background led her to attend Colorado State University and earn her degree in ag business.
