March 26 meeting to discuss proposed reservoir

Joe Frank, manager of the Lower South Platte Water Conservancy District, and Jim Yahn, manager of Prewitt and North Sterling reservoirs, will present information on the proposed Freemont Butte Reservoir near Akron on Thursday, March 26, from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Washington County Court House, 181 Birch Ave., Akron.

The information presented will give a general overview of what the water will be used for and why is it being done.
