MMH adopts budgets, certifies mill levy

At a special meeting of the East Phillips County Hospital District Tuesday, Dec. 10, the board of directors passed a resolution for the adoption of the 2020 operating and capital budgets and certification of the mill levy.
Chief Financial Officer Wes White explained that between the adoption of the 2020 budget Nov. 26 and the special meeting Dec. 10, MMH received the final assessed value from the county. Compared to the preliminary number, it increased by $340 to $72,237,590. That caused the tax levies used in the budget to increase by $5.
