MMH promotes health, wellness in walk challenge

Walk challenge winners among Melissa Memorial Hospital staff members were rewarded last week for their step success.

Jimmie Bailey III and Elly Lambertson were seeking a way to engage staff and to try to make an impact on staff’s well-being.

With the widespread incidence of staff burnout, they wanted to empower individual behaviors that promoted health and wellness. Their hope was that staff could not only have fun enjoying some friendly competition, but to also create a positive work environment.
