Pace is chair-elect of health care consortium

Dewane Pace, CEO of Haxtun Hospital, was recently elected as the chair-elect of the Eastern Plains Healthcare Consortium.

EPHC is an organization of eight hospitals and one health care system on the northeastern plains of Colorado. EPHC is organized as a support organization, and through this, it strives to improve health care quality, improve access to care, and achieve economies of scale for all resources resulting in cost savings to be passed on to hospitals and participating providers.

Trampas Hutches, former CEO of Melissa Memorial Hospital in Holyoke, was the EPHC chair. With his resignation, Char Korrell, CEO of Weisbrod Memorial Hospital in Eads has assumed the role of chair. Pace was elected to fill her former role of chair-elect.
