Perkins Co. Women in Agriculture Day, Farm Bill meeting are Jan. 16

The Perkins County Women in Agriculture Day will be Thursday, Jan. 16, at the Perkins County Senior Center, 420 Central Ave. in Grant, Nebraska. This event is open to all people in Perkins County, Nebraska, and surrounding areas. It is sponsored by Perkins County Farm Services Agency and Natural Resources Conservation Service employees and Nebraska Extension.

Refreshments and registrations begin at 9 a.m. with sessions until 1:15 p.m. Lunch is included in registration.

The senior center will provide a roast beef dinner. To reserve a meal, register by Monday, Jan. 13. Call the Perkins County FSA office at 308-352-4747, ext. 2, or email negrant-fsa@usda.gov.
