Pheasants Forever welcomes new farm bill biologist
A new wildlife resource is now available to landowners in northeast Colorado.
Chrissy Rhodes, a new Pheasants Forever farm bill biologist, recently came from central Iowa, where she worked with landowners transitioning old conservation reserve programs, unprofitable crop ground or other non-native monocultures into quality wildlife habitat on their property.
“I am excited to be able to help landowners in northeast Colorado implement practices that encourage wildlife use and help them manage their land for species of interest to them,” she said.
Using a variety of programs and tools, landowners can improve their property to increase hunting opportunities, pollinator habitat and overall wildlife viewing opportunities.
