Public takes a peek at pavilion progress
Project manager Matt Brasby, pictured at left, takes a moment away from his work on the Phillips County Pavilion and Education Center to visit with County Commissioner Don Lock and his wife, Bev Lock. The three were part of the June 13 Hot Dog Wednesday lunch coordinated by the Holyoke Chamber of Commerce. In addition to the free lunch, the public was invited to take a look around the pavilion. Commissioners and other County employees were on hand, happy to answer questions and show people around. Brasby said progress is continuing ahead of schedule and the necessary water, electrical outlets and lighting should be ready for the Phillips County Fair, July 24-29. Areas such as the kitchen and bathrooms, where they’re pictured standing, will be finished after the fair is over.
