Resignation approved for Hutches

At a special meeting of the board of directors of East Phillips County Hospital District Tuesday, Nov. 12, the board approved a resignation submitted by Melissa Memorial Hospital president and CEO Trampas Hutches. The resignation is effective Dec. 24.

The board held a 45-minute executive session to discuss personnel and succession planning.

Hutches will begin a new position Jan. 1 at Franklin Community Health Network in Maine.

Hutches informed the board of his career move decision Nov. 4 and shared his plans with the hospital staff Nov. 8.
