RRWCD to hold quarterly meeting Nov. 19 in Wray

The Board of Directors of the Republican River Water Conservation District will be holding its regular quarterly meeting in Wray Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at Cobblestone Inn and Suites meeting room, 35952 Hwy. 385.

The board will be considering a proposed budget for 2020 at 10:15 a.m.

At 10:30 a.m., the board will hold a public hearing to amend the water use fee policy — establishing and correcting water use fees for nongroundwater irrigation use in accordance with the Republican River Compact administration accounting procedures and reporting requirements, to include a specific fee structure for groundwater that is used for flood irrigation.

General public comment will be taken at 1 p.m.
