RRWCD to meet Jan. 10 in Burlington

    The board of directors of the Republican River Water Conservation District will hold its regular quarterly meeting Thursday, Jan. 10, from 10 a.m.-4:15 p.m. at the Burlington Community and Educational Center, 340 S. 14th St.
    Agenda items include board president’s report; general manager’s report; quarterly financial report; report from the Compact Compliance Pipeline operator; reports from chairmen of all RRWCD committees; program updates and reports from RRWCD’s engineer, federal and state lobbyists, and legal counsel; report by state engineer’s office and attorney general’s office; South Fork water rights; presentation by Mark Lengel on concerns on the South Fork; report from Colorado State University’s Meagan Schipanski and Amy Kremen; and RRWCD committee assignments and appointments to associated organizations.
