At the annual convention of the Colorado Association of School Executives held last week, Northeast Colorado BOCES director of special projects Arlene Salyards was presented with the Friends of Technology Award. The award comes from the Colorado Association of Leaders in Educational Technology Department.
Salyards was recognized as part of a team including Denise Shorey, Jarrod Masterson and Tim Miles who collaborated to create a proposal that drastically reduced the price of internet service for over 30 school districts.
