Scholl’s sells communications department to Absolute Solutions
On Aug. 1, Scholl Oil and Transportation Company of Holyoke sold its communications department to Absolute Solutions, which is based in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Damon Ellis, who has been the radio technician for Scholl’s for about a year, will continue serving the area under Absolute Solutions.
Scholl’s Printers Paper and More store at 118 S. Interocean Ave. in Holyoke will still be Ellis’ headquarters, and customers can stop in from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday or call Ellis at 970-580-0830.
Absolute Solutions is part of a multi-state company called Action Communications that has a team serving private, commercial, public safety and government markets in Wyoming, western Nebraska and northern Colorado.
Absolute Solutions offers two-way radios and pagers, and Ellis said customers in northeast Colorado should see the coverage area broaden once the local equipment can be linked to the company’s vast regional network.
