Seaboard hog barn burns

    No human injuries were reported after a Seaboard Foods hog barn located in Yuma County burned down on the afternoon of May 24.
    Seaboard Foods senior communications director David Eaheart said the cause of the fire is under investigation and that other information, including the number of animals lost, cannot be shared until after the investigation finishes.
    Eaheart said the company is grateful to the local fire services that fought the blaze into the evening and were able to contain it to the single barn.
