Seat belts save lives

A vehicle crashed with four people in it, and only one survived because that person was wearing a seat belt. Would that convince people to wear a seat belt? Or would they say that person just beat the odds? Most people wouldn’t bet their lives on those odds.

Colorado State Patrol reminds residents that seat belts do save lives. In 2019, 55% of people killed in nighttime crashes were not wearing seat belts.
