Spitz to offer cakes, decor downtown
After decades at The Oak Tree in downtown Holyoke, Jody Fiscus is passing the torch to Heidi Spitz.
“I’ve always loved The Oak Tree!” said Spitz. She will be purchasing the home decor business and building at 141 S. Interocean Ave.
The Oak Tree has been closed for a couple of months, so customers were happy to see the doors open again beginning Saturday, Oct. 31.
Much of the merchandise that customers are used to seeing at The Oak Tree will still be available, but Spitz has some big additions in mind, as well.
First of all, the name will be changing to Heidi’s Cakes, Decor & More.
