State Degrees awarded to 4 grads

    Tyler Camblin, Wyatt McCallum, Gunnar Kroeger and Brendan Mayden of Holyoke FFA were all recognized at the state FFA convention at Colorado State University-Pueblo June 13-15, receiving State Degrees for their contributions to their chapters and communities.
    To earn a State Degree, members fill out an application, showing proof of 25 hours of community service and participation in at least seven FFA activities above the chapter level. In addition, the applicant must have either worked at least 750 hours in a supervised agricultural experience program or have earned and/or productively invested at least $2,500 by the member’s own efforts from their SAEP.
    The member must also demonstrate leadership, be actively involved in the chapter’s program of work and satisfy academic requirements as well.
    All seniors, the four HHS students have demonstrated considerable involvement in FFA activities over the last four years.
