Stipulations in place for Blackshirt Feeders

The list of stipulations attached to Blackshirt Feeders’ conditional use permit has been released by the Dundy County, Nebraska, clerk’s office.

Dundy County Commissioners Scott Olson, Richard Bartholomew and Jerry Fries approved the CUP following a public hearing June 6.

After approving the CUP, the commissioners reviewed a list of stipulations suggested by consultant Keith Marvin and forwarded to the commissioners by the Dundy County Zoning and Planning Board following a Feb. 1 hearing and  meeting.

Top of the list is approval for the proposed 100,000-head feedlot from the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy. The feedlot would sit just south of the Dundy County and Chase County, Nebraska, line.
