Taylor is new livestock agent

    Colorado State University Extension has hired Travis Taylor to serve as livestock extension agent for the Golden Plains Area.
    Taylor has been the extension director in Lincoln County since 2010 and will now be working out of the Yuma County office in Wray. This new position continues his second tenure in extension as he served as the University of Wyoming Extension 4-H livestock specialist and livestock judging team coach from 1992-1999.
    Taylor’s education includes an associate degree from Northeastern Junior College and a bachelor’s from Colorado State University, both in agriculture business. He received a master’s in animal science management from UW while working for the university.
