U-Haul service comes to Holyoke Lumber
As of this week, U-Haul rental and drop-off service is available right here in Holyoke. Equipment and signs showed up at Holyoke Lumber Monday, Aug. 23, with rental availability starting Tuesday, Aug. 24.
Rosa Ogaz and her son, Jorge Dominguez, had been talking about ways to utilize their extra lot space at 200 E. Carnahan St., where they operate Holyoke Lumber.
About a month ago, Rich Asher, U-Haul’s area field manager, stopped by the store to see if they might be interested in becoming a dealer.
Ogaz said they didn’t have to think about it very long, as they recognized it as a great way to not only utilize their space, but also to provide a needed service for the community.
