Weber qualifies for sale at state fair

Five Phillips County 4-H’ers were among the competitors at the Colorado State Fair livestock shows in late August in Pueblo.

Colby Weber earned first place in Class 3 market steer competition, which qualified him for the junior livestock sale Tuesday, Sept. 1. Only the top 24 steers were eligible to be sold in the sale that took place both in-person and online.

Cash Weber also competed in the market steer show, placing third in Class 6.
