Holyoke High School sophomore Tayla Martin, at left, and junior Ethan Schneller are now serving as the district social media officer and district historian, respectively. They have been working closely with Aly Lock of Haxtun, who is the Colorado state officer for District 4. Officers have been busy planning for the district competition in February, where both Martin and Schneller will put on a workshop about social media etiquette. They are also in the process of contacting judges to serve at districts. Martin is coordinating a countdown to districts on Instagram, and Schneller will be in charge of taking pictures at the competition at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling on Feb. 9.
