Brief school board meeting Tuesday

A brief meeting of Holyoke School District Re-1J Board of Education is scheduled Tuesday, July 18, at 5 p.m. in the board meeting room in HJHS room No. 218.

The meeting will be followed by a board retreat at 5:15 p.m.

Meeting agenda items include approval of a resignation and new personnel.

Board retreat discussion items include student centered accountability project, visible learning, mill levy override with Superintendent John McCleary discussing a presentation to show the community, hiring process and structured timeline for high school principal hiring, standards of excellence report and school board self-evaluation.
