Register for summer ball teams by April 20

Holyoke students should be bringing home from school a registration form for the City of Holyoke summer recreation program. Copies are also available at the City office, 407 E. Denver, or on a newly-launched Facebook page for City of Holyoke Recreation. There will be a discount on registration for all forms turned into the City office or to Victoria Timm, recreation director, by Thursday, April 20.

Girls can sign up for T-ball, age 5-6; machine pitch, age 7-8; softball, age 9-12; and softball, age 13-16. Boys can sign up for T-ball, age 5-6; machine pitch, age 7-8; peewee, age 9-10; Little League, age 11-12; and Babe Ruth, age 13-15. Divisions are determined by the child’s age as of April 30.

A new online store is now available for athletes as well as anyone wanting to support the youth and community. Deadline to purchase from the online store is Friday, April 14, at holyoke-recreation17.itemorder.com.
