‘One Shot’ exhibit heads to the Orphanage

Yuma, Colo. – The Orphanage will be exhibiting the photographs of former Yuma resident Jesse Goeglein during the month of January. The exhibit is titled “One Shot.”

Jesse grew up in Yuma, and went on to graduate from the University of Denver in 2009 with degrees in Computer Science and Molecular Biology. He spent eight years working in Utah, before moving back to Colorado Springs, where he now resides.

While in Utah, Jesse started taking photography seriously when he realized that his camera gets him into places (and motivates him to get to places) that he didn’t expect. He’s been into the pits at speed week where world land speed records were being set, spent a few days rafting through the Grand Canyon, and gets up at obscene hours of the night searching for images that will help us remember to celebrate and appreciate the world that we’ve been given.
