3 Timothy Awards highlight AWANA recognition program

    Three Holyoke sixth-graders were presented prestigious Timothy Awards and pins to cap their years in AWANA at the April 25 end-of-year program at First Baptist Church in Holyoke.
    Along with Timothy Award winners Caiden Krueger, Joseph Schroetlin and Caden Sporhase, numerous others were recognized for their involvement and achievements in the AWANA program.
    The evening started with a meal for AWANA clubbers and their families.
    Commander Randy Schafer welcomed those attending, with Evan Widler leading the pledge to the American flag, Joseph Schroetlin leading the pledge to the AWANA flag, Levi Clayton leading prayer and clubbers presenting songs under the direction of Laura Beth Schroetlin.
