Citywide cleanup is next week
A cleanup day for City of Holyoke residential customers is set for Wednesday-Thursday, May 8-9. All legally disposable items must be out in the alley prior to 7 a.m. Wednesday for all areas of the city. Like items should be grouped together and marked with a white rag. Items that will be picked up include metal, concrete, bricks, branches, furniture, wood and non-Freon appliances. Appliances that contained Freon require certification verifying Freon has been removed. Tires and electronics will be accepted if a fee has been paid at City Hall.

Vocalists in grades 7-12 and select choir will be featured at a concert Friday, May 3, at 7 p.m. Next week, band students in grades 5-12 will take the stage Tuesday, May 7, at 7 p.m. Both concerts are in the HHS auditorium.
