4-H & More Summer Camp registration due Friday, June 21
    Colorado State University Extension is offering two 4-H & More summer camps in July, and registration for both is due Friday, June 21. The camp for those 8-10 years old is Tuesday-Wednesday, July 16-17. For 11-14-year-olds, camp is Thursday-Saturday, July 18-20. Daily activities will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
    Campers will explore such topics as history, cooking, nutrition, fishing, archery, GPS, robotics and rockets. The 11-14-year-old camp will also feature an evening at Camp Machasay near Amherst on Friday, with arts and crafts, games, swimming, barbecue and a campfire.

Blast from the Past auctions June 22-23
    A special pair of Blast from the Past auctions Saturday-Sunday, June 22-23, will take locals back in time, featuring a wide variety of antiques and vintage treasures at Phillips County Fairgrounds.
    The first day of sales will be held in conjunction with Saturday’s Dandelion Daze and is set to begin at 10 a.m. Items being auctioned include pedal tractors, toys, neon signs, clocks, cast iron, implements and countless other things from days gone by.
    Sunday’s auction, also starting at 10 a.m., will feature 415 lots of coins, including such things as silver dollars, quarters, gold and other key date coins.
