Deadline is Monday for July 4 Enterprise; office closed
    In order to route the July 4 edition of The Holyoke Enterprise through the postal service before the holiday, next week’s paper will be printed a day early. As a result, deadlines for all materials, both news and advertising, will be Monday, July 1, at 10 a.m. Anything that can be turned in by Friday, June 28, will be appreciated.
    Local postal customers will receive the paper Wednesday, July 3. Copies will be available at the Enterprise office and other vendors starting Tuesday, July 2.
    The Enterprise office will close at noon Wednesday and will be closed all day July 4.
    
Library seeks information for September anniversary celebration
    A Sunday, Sept. 29, celebration of the Heginbotham mansion’s 100th year since construction is being planned, and the library is seeking information to help commemorate the occasion.  The celebration will also honor 50 years of Holyoke’s library being housed there since moving in back in 1969.
    Anyone with interesting information, personal stories, memories or photographs of the library or the building itself is encouraged to share them.
    Materials can be dropped off at the Heginbotham Library during regular business hours or emailed to thelibrary@pctelcom.coop.
    
Area singing planned Sunday, June 30
    Holyoke Church of Christ is hosting areawide singing Sunday, June 30, from 2-4 p.m. at the church located at 105 W. Scheunemann St. in Holyoke.
    All community members in the area are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served following the singing.
