Residents urged to take CDOT transportation survey
    Colorado Department of Transportation is making an effort to hear from Colorado residents. Locals in and around Holyoke are encouraged to take part in a statewide survey as soon as possible. As part of the “Your Transportation Plan” campaign, the survey is available at YourTransportationPlan.com in both English and Spanish. It will take 5-10 minutes to complete.
    CDOT is bringing planning efforts together to take a fresh look at transportation investment priorities and is asking people across Colorado what matters to their lives and what infrastructure can do to get them there. In addition to the survey, the website also lists meetings and other opportunities for participation.
    
Save the date for women’s retreat Aug. 24
    The Women of Zion Lutheran Church are hosting a women’s retreat Saturday, Aug. 24, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Special guest speaker is Deb Burma. The cost of the retreat includes lunch. Deadline for preregistration is Thursday, Aug. 1. Call 970-854-2615 for more info.
