Cowboy Capital Chorus concert to feature Equally Delinquent

“Heritage of Harmony, A History of Barbershop Singing” is the theme of the Cowboy Capital Chorus’s 16th annual performance.  Join them on a journey of music and stories from the earliest barbershop roots over 100 years ago.

Performances will be Saturday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. at the high school in Ogallala, Nebraska, and Saturday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m. at the Holyoke High School auditorium. Tickets are available at the door.

The concert will feature guest barbershop quartet Equally Delinquent. Steve Schwartzkopf is the baritone, Dan Kafka bass, Maury Kramer lead and Strahinja Stepanovic tenor.

The quartet was formed in 2006 and has a slightly different sound that incorporates 1950s doo-wop and 1960s harmony classics while still maintaining the traditional barbershop favorites. Equally Delinquent has performed for many venues in northeast Colorado and western Nebraska, and the vocalists are also members of the Cowboy Capital Chorus.
