Legacy of Thanks is Sunday

Melissa Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Legacy of Thanks celebration is Sunday, Nov. 3, at MMH. A light lunch will be served at noon, and the program will begin at 1 p.m. Attendees are invited to join MMHF in honoring donors, medical professionals, award and scholarship recipients, and volunteers while also remembering loved ones.

Dodgeball tourney needs teams, spectators

Holyoke High School National Honor Society’s 12th annual dodgeball tournament is Friday, Nov. 8, at 6:30 p.m. at HHS. Proceeds will benefit Kendall Kroeger.

Teams can consist of 6-10 people age 12 and up. Registration is due to Stefan Betley at HHS by Thursday, Nov. 7. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team, best-dressed team and best entrance during the opening parade. For more info, call 970-854-2284 or visit hcosd.org.

The Holyoke Enterprise staff members are already hard at work on the annual Christmas edition, which will be published Dec. 19. All ages are invited to submit original creative writings and poetry to be included in the special section. Deadline is Friday, Nov. 15.
