Blood drive set for Friday, Dec. 6

Local input needed at ag meeting

Natural Resources Conservation Service and Haxtun Conservation District are interested in hearing from locals. A workgroup meeting and annual mini-meeting are set for Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 8 a.m. at the Bar Lo Cafe in Haxtun. The meeting will be used to help identify agricultural and natural resource issues within the community. It’s open to the public, and feedback will help direct agency programs. Landowners, ag producers, agribusinesses and other conservation partners are encouraged to attend. A complimentary breakfast will be served. For more info, call 970-854-2812, ext. 3.
