School board member sought
Due to a vacancy on the Holyoke Re-1J Board of Education, the school is looking for an appointee to serve until the next regular school election in November 2021. Those interested in being appointed to the vacant seat should pick up an application at the school administration building, 435 S. Morlan Ave. Applications must be returned by 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6. Appointees must be a registered elector of the school district for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the date of appointment and cannot have conviction of sexual offense against a child.
Register for peewee wrestling Jan. 6
Registration for Holyoke peewee wrestling is Monday, Jan. 6, at 6 p.m. in the Holyoke High School commons area. A parents’ meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m. The club is open to boys and girls in kindergarten through age 12. Visit the club’s Facebook page to print off papers to take to the meeting. Enterprise sets early deadline
Due to the New Year’s holiday, next week’s deadline for all news and ads is Monday, Dec. 30, at 10 a.m. Anything that can be submitted by Friday, Dec. 27, will be appreciated.
The Enterprise office will close at noon Tuesday, Dec. 24, and will be closed Wednesday-Thursday, Dec. 25-26. The office will also close at noon Tuesday, Dec. 31, and will be closed Wednesday-Thursday, Jan. 1-2.
Weight loss group begins in January
