Johnson Publications’ annual home improvement section is inserted in this week’s Enterprise. It covers a wide range of topics, including curb appeal, updated wood paneling, multipurpose spaces, budget-friendly projects, pollinator landscapes and aromatherapy for the home.

 

County encourages storm damage reporting

Phillips County encourages residents to report their damages from the June 6 and June 9 storms that went through Phillips County.  Gathering this information is the first step in requesting federal government assistance.

Damages may be reported on the form that can be found at https://bit.ly/PC_2020June_StormDamages. A paper copy is available at the courthouse administration office. For more information, call the administration office at 970-854-3778.   

 

School gets clearance for summer workouts

Holyoke School District athletic director John Baumgartner announced that summer workouts could begin Monday, June 15. He said coaches will have to be creative right now because many rules are in place to keep athletes safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. The plan will be updated as guidelines evolve.

 

Vote for favorite dad photos this week

Visit The Holyoke Enterprise’s Facebook page to vote for your favorites in this year’s Father’s Day photo contest. The photo with the most likes at the end of Father’s Day, June 21, will be the winner of a $50 gift certificate to a Holyoke restaurant of their choice.
