Enterprise closed for Labor Day

The Holyoke Enterprise office will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day. Any news or advertising that can be submitted by Friday, Sept. 4, will be appreciated.

Golf tourney to benefit fairgrounds

Phillips County Fairgrounds and Phillips County Fair are hosting a two-day golf tournament with the goal of replacing old tables at the fairgrounds. The tourney will be held at F & H Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 12, and at Holyoke Golf Course on Sunday, Sept. 13.

The event features 18 holes each day, daily winners, pin prizes and an aggregate winner. The fee for four-person teams covers both days. Participants are responsible for their own carts; however, each course has rentals available. To sign up, call Kayla Kafka at 970-580-8019.

Northeast Colorado landscape photos sought

Pro 15 is holding a photography contest for photos to use for its Alumni of the Plains awards. The photos should be landscapes — no people — of northeast Colorado. The entry deadline is Friday, Sept. 4. Photos should be emailed to cathy@pro15.org. The winner will receive a cash prize.

Spare change can make a big impact
