This weekend is last chance to gather leaves

The city of Holyoke will not be picking up leaves after Monday, Nov. 30. Residents should not put leaves in the gutter after Sunday, Nov. 29.

 

Blood drive is Monday at First Baptist Church

A Red Cross blood drive is set for Monday, Nov. 30, at First Baptist Church, 1000 E. Johnson St., Holyoke, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Appointments are highly encouraged. Sign up at redcross blood.org or by contacting Kylie Purkeypile at 970-466-2345 or Kristin Koch at 970-466-2150. Each donation saves up to three lives! For those who are unable to donate, volunteer opportunities are also available at the blood drive.

 

Turkey Trot is now a virtual run

The Turkey Trot 5K and Family Fun 1 Mile that were originally scheduled for Thanksgiving Day at Homesteaders Park have been changed to virtual races. Registered participants can complete their run/walk on their own. Participants in the 5K should email their time to Linda Jelden at pcfamilyed@yahoo.com by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. The top three winners will receive a prize. For more information or to register, contact Jelden at 970-580-4101. The Turkey Trot is a fundraiser for Phillips County Family Education Services.

 

Enterprise office closed Thursday and Friday
