Enterprise needs help with new series
The Holyoke Enterprise has had two articles in its Humans of Holyoke series, and staff members are still looking for more volunteers for future articles. In this series, different groups of people are compared and contrasted to celebrate what makes us different and what brings us together. Possible ideas include night people and morning people, movie lovers and book lovers, picky eaters and adventurous eaters, and more! Let the Enterprise know! Call 970-854-2811, send an email to reporter@jpipapers.com or send the Enterprise a message on Facebook.
Missing Persons Day is Feb. 4
Normally, people gather at the Colorado State Capitol for Missing Persons Day, but this year it will take place virtually.
On Thursday, Feb. 4, a video of the speakers who would usually be a part of the program will be available on the Colorado Bureau of Investigation website, www.colorado.gov/cbi. That website will also have an online platform for friends and family to post short tributes about loved ones who are missing.
Missing Persons Day is held on Feb. 4 in honor of Kelsie Schelling who disappeared on that day eight years ago.
